Nice to meet you, I’m Melanie 🙂 I grew up in Germany and have just moved to the Netherlands. Besides teaching Yoga, I’m working in Web Design and love to help small businesses, artists and freelancers make their vision come true.
But now, let me tell you a bit about my yoga journey. It began in 2015 when I was severly injured in an accident that left me at fitness level 0. Before, I was always kind of active, spending time horse riding, running, swimming and doing at-home fitness (still missing the old days of Tone it up & Blogilates, anyone else?). So starting at zero was pretty hard for me, especially given that I couldn’t go all in and was still feeling the effects of my injury.
That’s when Yoga and Pilates came to the rescue. Through gentle exercises (and lots of modifications) I allowed myself to take a lot of time to recover and gain strength again. But with the daily habit of Yoga and Pilates, I was able to get into a better shape than ever before. It helped me to transform not only on the physical, but also on the mental level.
That’s what led me to teaching yoga. I’m so happy to be sharing the benefits and helping other women to feel their best as well ♡
I completed the foundational 200h Teacher Training in June 2020 and my 300h Teacher Training in March 2021. Currently, I’m enrolled in a Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training and a Pilates Instructor Course.
I’m certified with Yoga Alliance and offer pre-recorded videos through Youtube, Yoga Podcasts, Private Classes and – starting in February – Live Classes.
