Today’s Yoga class begins with very gentle stretches to wake up and release tension from the upper body. From there, we’re going into more strengthening exercises, working our lower body, core, upper body, balance and stability. It’s a great routine to do in the morning to energize your body and to feel ready for the day. Some of the poses we’ll flow through today: child’s pose, low lunge, high lunge (crescent lunge), downward dog, chaturanga, one-legged planks and down dogs, eagle side plank, pigeon and butterfly pose.
