200 g cashews

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Spread cashews on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 10 min until golden brown and let cool slightly (for about 30 minutes).

Now add the cashews into your food processor (I use a small kitchenaid blender) and mix.

Depending on the strength of your blender, you should take breaks every now and then so that it doesn’t overheat. You might also have to scrape the cashews from the edges of your blender into the center. Continue until it reaches the desired consistency, this might take a couple of minutes, so don’t give up too early 😉

Pour into a jar and store at room temperature. Enjoy on bread, smoothie bowls, oatmeal or use it for cooking & baking.
